Every time I think about my tutors response to the supplementary book Off with their heads I have to smile as he did get very excited by the images selected for this publication and after some discussion, we decided that this should be my final submission for Assignment 2: The Archive.
Looking at the research carried out for Assignment 2, there is nothing I need to add to my work as it is relevant to this new book, which is also true of the writing conducted against the assignment however, in order to produce a more polished submission, the following housekeeping tasks need to be performed.
Changes to my book will include:
- Update dedication page.
- Include acknowledgements etc.
- Include some key comments made by my mum.
- Change the layout to accommodate the new text.
As you can see, the format for this publication will be the same as Life, Love and Laugher, and there is not much to be done to make this something that someone would pick up in a bookshop (or online). It is just a case of getting the task finished, so that I can move on towards my next assignment.
To be honest, I am glad that we decided to change books and go in a different direction, for all that I love the book I created for my mum, this new book is definitely what the brief called for.
